Due to the success of My Gift of Music, a Tribute CD designed as a tool to help spread awareness about the dangers of teen suicide, Pick With Austin is making plans to release Volume Two early in 2012..! "This Tribute CD is intended to help us to continue to promote our foundation's effort to educate people about the dangers of youth depression and suicide," offers Jeff Curley - founder of the public non-profit charity, Pick With Austin, Inc. "Each song licensed to us for use on the album has a special meaning and we hope that by distributing this to the public, we can help drive more awareness and direct people to resources to help educate or prevent suicide actions." If you have not already obtained a copy of this fantastic music collection on CD, you can preview short clips of some of the songs that are on the first volume as they appear below in our online media player.

You can help contribute to this next CD..! We are actively seeking singers and musicians (as well as bands) that are willing to donate a song to be included on this next volume of our charity Tribute CD. You may submit a song in MP3 format by sending the song, or a link to the song, to our submission email address listed at the bottom of this page. If your music is selected, we will require a higher quality version (preferably in an uncompressed WAV format). All music must be original composition that you fully own and that you can license to Pick With Austin for our use in this project. All music must already be recorded and ready for our use. Music styles that we are accepting include: Pop, Rock, Country, Metal, Contemporary, Reggae, Classical, and also purely instrumental pieces.

Your music will remain your property - you will only be licensing it for the charity CD use. The hard copy CD, or corresponding website, will include a bio and write-up on each contributor/band. Here is information about the first volume that is already in release and doing well:   Submit to have your music included... Taking part in this project his is a great way to contribute to the Pick With Austin charity. Proceeds and publicity from the release of the Tribute CD's help to further promote our mission. This is a great way to gain some exposure for yourself as well. Additionally, we are a 501(c)(3) certified public charity, so all donations are tax deductable.
