Saturday, July 16 7:00—10:00pm at MELTZER'S RESTAURANT at the Annual Birthday Party for Judith Miller
On Saturday evening, July 16th, the Judith Miller hand painted guitar in memory of Alan and "Angels Come Angels Go" will be auctioned off at Meltzer's Restaurant at the annual birthday party for Judith Miller. The Judith Miller Band (JMB) will entertain with great music, and there will be a silent auction. Proceeds from the guitar and from the silent auction will go to the Pick With Austin charity.
You can contribute to this worthy cause by donating something to be included in the auction. Are you a business owner, or do you work for a business that would be willing to donate a product or a service? Your company name and logo will be added to our list of sponsors if so. If you are an individual and wish to donate a valued service or an item (can be anything), we welcome your contribution also.
Ideas of services include such things as hair cuts, styling, nails, photography, or any other expert service that you provide professionally. Ideas for actual product/items include musical instruments, jewelry, electronics, tools, games, books, etc. If it has value and can be auctioned, it's right for this cause!

Do you know a store of company that you can approach and ask if they'd take part by donating something toward the silent auction? Donating a service or an item is a great way to contribute to our cause. Ask your employer if they can donate a product or a service. Receipts for value are available on request.
We also invite and encourage you to attend the event! The event is open to the public and Meltzer's is a great place to eat, drink, listen to music, and participate with us as we move forward in developing and executing our goals to help bring more awareness to people about the dangers of youth depression and suicide.

The Judith Miller Band is a jazz group that features the amazing vocal talents of Judith Miller. With a huge range and the ability to evoke Ella Fitzgerald to Diana Krall, Judith is also a writer who's originals are featured on the bands three releases,"I Am What I Am", "Christmas Time" and "Lets Have Fun". Judith Miller, Jim Erickson on guitar, and Russ Harrison on bass, JMB has performed concerts,clubs,festivals and SXSW for 15 years. JMB has a repertoire that includes selections from Antonio Carlos Jobim, Rodgers & Hart, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington,Count Basie,The Beatles, Patricia Barber and countless other composers.
